How I first found out about Amateur Radio
One day when I was younger, my family and I were at the Ontario Science Center for the day. At the Ontario Science Center is an Amateur Radio station, VE3OSC. On the day of my visit, there were a couple of operators there chatting away on the radio. I was quite interested in it and spoke with the operators there that day and learned more about it.
Studying for the exam
After my experience at the Ontario Science Center, I started looking for a course to learn more. It turns out my local club at the time, the London Amateur Radio Club, was about to offer a basic course. So I signed up and attended all the lessons!
Writing the exam
At the end of the course, I wrote the exam and passed with honours!
